When I started driving a few months ago I suddenly became aware that there are A LOT of bad drivers out and about. My dad told me how there used to be a program where you notified the police of broken laws and they sent a postcard to the offender. I was very disappointed to find that this isn't still done because there's usually a driver or two that I see on the road that I think need to go back to driving school. So...here we go.

These will be primarily from Hampton Roads, Virginia. I'm not opposed to including license plate numbers...heck I kinda hope that someone recognizes the plate and tells the driver to cool off...seriously, nothing's worth dying for. Especially not getting to the next red light without gaining any positions in line. Seriously...these make me laugh the hardest. You'd be in the EXACT same spot even if you didn't do anything. But I digress.

Getting on I-64 at Norview Avenue; Norfolk,VA

Here's the map,  but it's old because it's no longer a clover leaf. They're changing the on and off ramps and there's now a light as the people heading south have to turn left to get onto the interstate. I'm heading NE and my light turned yellow making me have to stop somewhat shortly because I try not to run yellow lights. BEFORE my light has turned red, the front car in the left turn lane turned left onto the interstate.

Now, at the time I was certain that the car blatently ran the red light since he knew he could. As I returned from the library I had to pass through the same light to get home, I saw that the light does have a solid green as well as a left turn for that lane. So it is entirely possible that that car went on a solid green which is legal since he had stopped first before he turned left. I do not know what the timing is for the light and it wouldn't be the first one in the city which is designed blatently wrong.
