This is just a typical case of annoyingly pointless road rage.
So, I'm heading north on Chesapeak Blvd in the 2nd lane from the right (so just the right turn lane to the right), and am stopped at the light. Beside me, a car drives up and calmly stops as the light turns yellow. This...bitch, for lack of a better term, comes flying up behind with her horn blazing, screaming something at the car stopped ahead of her. The way the light works, the right turn gets a green arrow, then it turns red right before it turns green again (along with the straight lanes). So all told, between the first car stopping, the second car blowing, and the light turning green again, 10 seconds couldn't have passed. All that...BS just because one woman didn't want to stop for a red light.
Is it no wonder that I have no sympathy for drivers who get a red light video ticket for turning right on red without stopping. The law says that you need to stop and look before you turn right on red. If you don't like it, feel free to petition to have the law changed.
