When I started driving a few months ago I suddenly became aware that there are A LOT of bad drivers out and about. My dad told me how there used to be a program where you notified the police of broken laws and they sent a postcard to the offender. I was very disappointed to find that this isn't still done because there's usually a driver or two that I see on the road that I think need to go back to driving school. So...here we go.

These will be primarily from Hampton Roads, Virginia. I'm not opposed to including license plate numbers...heck I kinda hope that someone recognizes the plate and tells the driver to cool off...seriously, nothing's worth dying for. Especially not getting to the next red light without gaining any positions in line. Seriously...these make me laugh the hardest. You'd be in the EXACT same spot even if you didn't do anything. But I digress.

Wrongly Designed Intersection;

Here's the map. Okay. The law says that you can only turn left on solid green after stopping (treat it like a yield sign). At this intersection, the left lane heading east on Johnston's ONLY turns left. BUT, the light only gives a solid green. While legal, it is wrong. For those who know the intersection well, they know that the light is pretty short, so you need to quickly turn left or risk losing the light after only 2 or 3 cars. This incorrectly teaches drivers that they can and SHOULD treat a solid green light like a left turn light, creating problems at other intersections. For those who don't know the light, they're going to be confused--especially since common sense at ANY OTHER LIGHT, would say that you need to look out for the cars across the way heading straight--they have a red light, but nothing on the eastbound side indicates this.
